Angie hearts her new job!!

My new workplace rocks my socks ok!! And did I mentioned that it’s like, 3 freaking bus-stops from my place? I ish so bloody damn happy can. I am so fucking glad I made the decision to leave ISOS.

Although I was told that workload is super light since it’s the off-peak season now, but I believe that the workload there won’t be as crazy as ISOS la!! Can’t explain my happiness in just 1 or 2 words~! Ima gonna stay with this company for a long long time…. =)

Dillie and me had tried our luck with Pinnacle@Duxton!! I so wanna stay there can? Please please please please must let us kena!!!

Ohhh~ Just gotten the results for the BTO project in Bukit Panjang/Choa Chu Kang, Senja Green. The results were pretty… how should I describe it? Anyway, we are no. 26, out of 1,735 applicants. It is pretty obvious that I am not very into the idea of leaving in some ulu-sami housing estate. But if that’s that, then that’s that lo.

Bukit Panjang very far le… Far from work, far from school, far from Daddy, essentially, far from every shit that I am familiar with. The only plus point I can think of? Well, it’s cheap. That’s about it.

Did I mentioned that the keys are only available in year 2011/2? I would be in my 30s!! Can’t I start a family sooner? T.T

However, all’s not lost for us yet (I hope). We have still got another shot at the Pinnacle!! Unless HDB decided to pull us out of the excercise… Argh!!

I bought a pink Sanyo camera for Mummy at S$99.00!! Cheap hor? Mummy is a tech-idiot, so I fathom this camera is good enough for her to take silly pictures and stuff yeah!

Camera: I am cheap but I come with 7.1 mega pix ok?

I bought it at the convenient store of some Esso station in Choa Chu Kang. It’s such a bargain lo. Gonna start sticking blings blings on it soon, before passing it to her when I visit her in Dec!!

I WANT A NEW PHONE!!!

But I am not sure if I want the Samsung Omnia or the iPhone le. Was playing with Gary’s iPhone today, he has got many nonsensical applications on it la!! Like so fun like that!! But then again, I don’t quite like the idea of proprietary softwares and hardwares le….

Btw, I wonder if there’s any chance the Google G1 will be coming to this part of the world. Looks like a pretty cute phone too!! Cute, as in ugly but adorable.

It has come to the time of the year to… renew Dillie’s car road tax & insurance. And he has been ranting about the amount to be fished outta his pocket. The cheapest quote he has gotten this year is close to 1 muthafucking grand. It’s 55% more than last year.

My friend, if you own a car in this financial trying period, congratulations to you…

Exams are around the corner again. It’s getting so tiring… Sometimes I wonder why the fuck am I trying so hard for… Anyway, as usual, I am not prepared yet. I still have some time to do some catching up and stuff but I am feeling damn lazy. According to the ‘reap what you sow’ theory, I will fail the exams once again…

I am bloody losing the will to continue this hectic and never-ending schedule of having to rush to school like a fucking moron twice a week. And I hate the idea of having to attend classes on weekends!!!

Perhaps I am trapped in this cycle for too long and it’s wearing me down. This is my 6th or 7th year of pursuing higher education. From higher Nitec to CAT and then to ACCA. Ha~

I just wish to have the time to do something I like. I wanna pick up new languages. Spainish, Japanese, Viet, French, Thai, or maybe go for some knitting classes or what. You know, just doing something you really enjoy.

To sum these up, I understand the importance upgrading myself. If I really wanna see myself higher up on the corporate hierarchy, I have to try a little harder. So in the very end, all of the above simply becomes nonesense because I still have to go on the neverending, hectic & monotonous cycle of going to school and taking the exams.

I have to find my drive back, but for now, I have to take my laundry back into the house as the sky is threatening to wet my half-dried clothes soon. Tmd….

Is it life or is it just me?
